ECU partners with University of The Gambia for intercultural exchange

East Carolina University (ECU) and The Gambia’s University of The Gambia (UTG) have established a partnership to foster intercultural exchange. A recent visit by UTG officials solidified the collaboration, which will involve faculty exchanges, joint research projects, and virtual classes. The initiative is expected to benefit students from both institutions by exposing them to new cultures and areas of study. ECU hopes to raise awareness of sub-Saharan Africa, while UTG seeks expertise in managing a growing university. More
